PRESSURE WASHER OIL CHANGE

Changing the oil in your small engines is key to their longevity. I usually do the pressure washer and lawnmower once a year because I don’t put very many hours on them, but if you frequently use your small engines you should change the oil more frequently.

Before draining the oil make sure you have enough oil on hand to do the change. If you don't know how much it takes you can check the user manual
If there is a drain plug on your pressure washer it will be at the bottom of the crank case
Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the engine with an oil pan under the pressure washer
Turn the pressure washer upright over the oil catch pan and let the oil drain out
Once the oil has drained out reinstall the drain plug. I used high temperature thread sealant, but that isn't necessary
Turn the pressure washer back upright and on a level surface add oil in small increments
Check the dip stick frequently to ensure that you don't overfill the crank case
