ELECTRICAL PLUG END REPAIR

Repairing a broken electrical plug in is actually pretty easy. You will need a replacement plug as well as some basic tools that you might have around your house already.

If disaster strikes don't panic
There is no way that this groud plug will be going back in
The end will need to be cut off
If necessary expose the wires so you know how the old plug was wired. Don't make a mistake on this, this is critical
Measure how much sheathing needs to be stripped from the wire
Strip the wire
Strip the internal wires to an appropriate length
Attach the wires to the new plug in the exact same way that the old one was wired up
Secure the new plug with the provided screws
