winterize a/c condenser

Getting your air conditioner condenser unit turned off and covered up for the winter will help extend the life of your A/C system.

Get an A/C cover, or similar quality tarp
It is recommended that you turn off the power to the A/C unit
Remove the disconnect
Clean the A/C condenser before covering
Put the A/C cover on the condenser unit
If it is loose a cargo strap will help keep it secured through the winter
