TOILET INSTALLATION

Once the Flange is down its time to place the toilet. Overall pretty easy job as long as you are following the instructions. Always check for leaks when you are done.

Step on pick out a toilet and bring it home
Make sure you have all the hardware to include the wax ring
Open up all the parts and verify that nothing is missing
Keep the toilet in the box until you mount it
Use the cardboard so that the tile and toilet don't get scratched
Install toilet flange harware. Bolts and washers
Ensure bolts are equal distance from the wall
Stick wax ring to the toilet
Don't let wax ring touch anything. Install directly onto the flange
Install the nuts that secure the bowl to the flange. Dont forget the plastic piece that holds the little egg in place like i do here
Install the tank to the bowl
Tighten the tank to the bowl
Level the tank
Use the mounting bolts to adjust the tank level
Hook up the water line securely
Turn on the water
Get excited, its almost done
If possible inspect for leaks
Get the seat, bolts, and nuts ready for the installation
Tighten the seat so you dont fall off the toilet
Put the lid on the tank
I had a couple low spots so added plastic shims in those areas
I forgot to add this little piece that holds the egg in place
Here I am fixing my mistake
Tighten the hardware back down
Cut the bolt down to size so the egg can fit over the bolt
Add the egg
Silicon if you want and or the code demands it
Don't forget your coffee
And its all ready
