TOILET FLANGE INSTALLATION The toilet flange is the key piece of plastic preventing a water disaster in your house. Installing a new one is pretty simple. Obviously it is extra easy in this case as I am able to access the plumbing through the basement with no issues. Do the prep work and with the adhesive needed for the type of piping you have in your house. Stick your parts together Do a dry fit to ensure everything sits flat Measure out any additional pipe that you will need to add Before final attachements ensure the flage sits level on the floor Add the final pieces based on what you measured out In this case I am using a flexible coupling Before attaching to the floor make sure the attachment points for the flange are equal distance from the wall. (this is critical) I taped the flange to the floor. I then used a diamond bit to drill a hole through the tile that is larger than the screws I am using for the flange I also predrilled the wood floor under the tile Screw the flange down to the floor Make sure the flange stays level and finish tightening it down You are all done and the toilet is ready to install Tools and equipment used: Tile Drill Bit – https://amzn.to/3v2QNxe ABS Cement – https://amzn.to/33yncQT Brass Screws – https://amzn.to/3HfdmkN Drill – https://amzn.to/3s09QpO Small Level – https://amzn.to/3LMtqxwAs an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
