MAZDA 3 KEY FOB BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The name says it all. I will change the battery in the only key FOB. It took me 3 times to get the video right. COVID lockdown has be slipping.

Use a small flat head to depress the plastic latch
Here is a close view of the piece to be pushed in
Insert your screw driver into the indent and twist it to pop the FOB open
Peel the 2 halfs of the FOB open
Pry out the battery
Insert a new CR 1620 3 V battery
Snap the 2 halves back together
Insert the key portion back into the FOB
